宇宙に漂う銀河の瞬き・自然界の光の現象にインスピレーションを受け、特殊フィルムと様々な素材・表面加工を組み合わせた構造色を用いて、

立体作品・インスタレーションを制作しています。

プリズムによって起こる光の屈折作用を応用することで、複数の色に分散された光の粒子が空間を支配し、見る者の造形意識を狂わせ劇的に視覚環境を変化させる作品制作に取り組んでいます。

印象派やミニマル・アートの流れを汲み、鑑賞者に対して光の記憶の追体験を意識させる作品制作をしている。

光や色、自然の事象を科学的に分析し、その研究成果を独自の表現方法へと変換する印象派の行為と、説明や感情、装飾的な要素を排除し、空間に対してアプローチを行うミニマル・アートの影響を受けた。

私の作品制作も自然界の光の現象を独自の視点で解析し、透明な素材と技巧的な表面加工で生じる屈折作用によって鑑賞者が知覚出来る状態へ再現し、私の記憶を追体験させる行為である。

Inspired by the twinkling of galaxies floating in space and the optical phenomena found in our natural world, I create three-dimensional works and installations that combine polarized film with various materials and surface treatments.

The works that I create use prisms to refract light and separate the particles of light dominating space, which are separated into multiple colors, confounding the viewer’s perception of form and radically altering their visual awareness.
